Thiago Menezes

Director of AI, Data & IT at The WellBoss, an SBO Company. Two decades building enterprise data and AI platforms across energy, finance, and government. Based in Calgary.

I am Director of AI, Data & IT at The WellBoss Company, where I lead the technology function across the company's Houston, Calgary, UK and Dubai operations. I bring more than 20 years in IT and 18 in business intelligence, analytics, and enterprise data engineering, with deep experience building lakehouse and cloud data platforms on Azure, AWS, GCP, and IBM Cloud.

Before WellBoss, I worked as Chief Data Architect at AER, and held senior architecture roles at Quartech, ATCO, and IBM, delivering data platforms for major Canadian energy and financial organizations. I am a Computer Engineer with an MBA in Business Intelligence, and I am currently completing a Master of Interdisciplinary AI at the University of Ottawa, focused on data analytics and cybersecurity.

With the scope of my new role, I am no longer taking on mentoring engagements.
